The Carter
foundation
The Carter Foundation has been present since 2014 - providing exceptional enrichment and leadership development opportunities to youth in the East Mississippi area. We offer youth an opportunity to create and mold their own unique experiences through our wide range of academics, economics, sports, and leadership activities. We see the true power that our youth hold, and we have made it our mission to inspire them to be natural born leaders, productive citizens, ready to take on the world.

James carter
James Carter, founder of The Carter Foundation, Founded the foundation in a response to violence and other youth related crimes. Mr. Carter is also the owner of Carter Worldwide, an account executive for Mississippi Broadcasters, and Vice-President of The Wesley House Community Center.
